firstly how much would it cost to have one sprayed roughly...
2ndly is it true bodyshops can get a colour match just by looking at your car and using sum sorta sampling device???? or do they need to fade in?

They spray it and flash over your bumper to blend the colour using Vauxhall colour codes...

you should be ok, if you had a flame red car on the other hand, you'd need a full re-spray Thats what I told me dad

silvers one of the worst colours to paint and match so if u want a proper job doing I wud seriously advise u to leave the car with them.......a pain i know but if it looks out of place u'll regret not letting them have the car!

my mates just fitted an irmscher splitter onto his corsa c, sprayed it himself n it aint an exact match. he used the spray from halfords. the car's silver by the way.
it just looks daft with it not being an exact same colour so i'd take the car to the garage n get them to do it proper

He had very little chance of gettin it right then, Halfords rattle cans (actually all rattle cans) are shite... If you're doin a biggish job, better to beg/steal/borrow a compressor...
