Both cars are certainly favourites of mine, both have there bad points, both have good points...
Engines are prone to going pop on both (APEX seals on the rex, No. 5 piston on the ZX), similair power (RX is lighter I believe though), same insurance...
Personally I prefer the 300zx, don't know why, but at the end of the day, its running costs & maintenance costs which are the key factor here...

I put RZ instead of RX up in the poll... doh!

RX just so much nicer imo, 300zx is a fast boat sorry car, but yeah prolly more reliable.
