I've got myself a GPS USB device and wanted to know if there is any software out there to use it for incar timing etc

No - the data doesn't come in quick enough.

I use Visual GPSXP for general messing about and I wrote some stuff to go through a log and find peak speed but nothing for 0-60 etc., can't be done accurately.
