if you're caught doing 30+ over the speed limit its an automatic ban.

my mate got caught doing 104mph in a 70 at night by traffic police, heard nearly 6 months later from then he had to go to court. he is unemployed and clean licence (20 yrs old) and got 5 points and £120 fine. very lucky if you ask me.

these speeding fines are ridiculas, that woman who run over and killed that lad and drove off only got a £80 odd fine and she had no documents
