I really want to own a garage at some point…
I think I’d like to be involved in pretty much any aspect…. Servicing/mot/sales/tuning
I’d want to just be the owner, nae work there ken ;0
How much do you think one would need to be able to start up a small garage…? A garage that would deal with everyday servicing, mot’s repairs etc… small as in 3 or 4 folk working small?
Can imagine it now…. A wee garage under the arches, a side line in seedy massage parlours… oh aye, can you feel it

Pffft you would keep them busy fixing your own motors never mind anyone elses
Id expect you would need a fair whack to invest initially and it could be a while before you see any returns

A mate of mine has started one, he rents the garage for £40 a week and can fit 5 cars in there. He just buys old bangers at the minute and does them up to sell, he also does a few repairs on ppls cars who come in.
He does quite well out of it too
