When I did the 1/4 mile a few month's ago at santa pod you needed your driving license, but didnt need a helmet. You register your car details in the office which is at the start of the 1/4 mile and then line up. Because there will be so many car's racing you probably wont get to choose who you race, but if you and your mates are behind each other then you may be alright. Be prepared to que for sometime to get onto the strip as it will be a hectic day. Once you have raced you can go into the office and collect your race slips for all 3 runs, just give them the first part of your number plate.

they try to even it out, but usually they just let cars go against cars and bikes go against bikes regardless

Santa pods rules regarding helmets are, you need one on if you are running a soft top/open top motor, or your terminal velocity is gonna be over 100mph, although i havent seen many people wear helmets at the pod..

your gonna need ya driving licence and £15 for this year, only 3 runs too

Normal RWYB days you get unlimited runs
