My front tyres are getting a lil worn. Am I alright to put the back ones on the front?

Yes. Just make sure the lefts are on the left and the rights are on the right if you've got handed tyres like Toyo Proxes.

no you cant swap em round

its better to have the good tyres on the back because the car will understeer and its easy to controll

if you have worn tyres on the back and good ones on the front it will swap ends and you will crash

ps ive seen a test on this in damp condition by a driver who can drive "very well i might add"

so no dont be a cheapskate and buy two new tyres

Adam is right - if you're on the limit of grip at both ends, you don't want less available to you at the back.

Having said that you can swap them to equalise wear so long as you maintain tread direction - but then you have to buy 4 instead of 2 fairly soon - I'd be buying 2 now!!

if you don't drive 'on the limit' then it should be ok to swap the tyres over. I do this to equalise the tread wear.
