Anyone know where I would find a super cheap runaround, ideally a diesel?

Looking for something ideally around £100 or less, not bothered what it is really.

Don't seem to be many in Autotrader, presumably because people don't want to pay £40 or however much it is to sell a £70 car!

My mate bought a 1.8 mondeo for £200 and I got a BMW E30 325 for £800 for a runabout for a few months

Look in the local rag - theres always cheap cars

Try the auctions. Your not gonna get much for £100 anyway so you can't really get ripped off.

Yea, going to give the auctions a try. It was Top Gear which inspired me.

I'm sick of all the car crime round here, cars getting broken into all the time, day and night, so I figured that rather than leave my Mini outside to get trashed, I might aswell get something which I don't care about and use that until I find a new apartment, hopefully with underground parking!

I'm gonna nip down to my local auction next week. Not gonna buy nothing, just wanna see what cars go for.

Seen 3 Corsas there yesterday parked outside plus some 51 plate Vectras

I would have it mate but I don't want to see your pride and joy get wrecked.

They'll nick anything if its not nailed down, the handle bars, seat, gears and maybe even that buckled wheel.

It just wouldn't be fair on the bike.
