ive got spyware in my computer! dam pop up things, and norton didnt stop it.

ive got a free trial, and know where they are, in the resistry, but how do i get rid of them now?

or can anyone recomened a free program to get rid of em?

it found 6 of em, i downloaded spyware nuker to get rid of em, but it told me a had to pay £30 to get the full program, and that left spyware in there anyway.

dunno where they came from!

there not classed as virus's so norton dont bother with them.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago best program to use which is free is spybot search and destroy some one off here told me this it works a treat much better than adaware 6.

If search for it on downloads.com if you are still having difficulty getting it i will e-mail to you if you want.

This was on my mums computer yesterday

If you are getting popups that look a bit like microsoft messages as opposed to stuff off internet explorer, go to start, run, type "services.msc", find the item called "messenger" then stop and disable it. Its only real purpose its stuff like when you are on a network, the printer can send you an automatic message when your document has finished, but people have hijacked it for spyware now too.
