From leeds im not sure, you want to come off at the round about that should be sign posted A1079 and turn off that pretty much straight away to the right onto B1228. Which will take you through Elvington and eventually to Melbourne.

Or you could come off in Fulford and drive through Heslington then onto Hull road then straight on at roundabout then turn off right for B1228.
