at quarter to one on friday night i was on my way home and decided to stop and get some petrol, after i had filled and paid, i pulled out of the garage and was at about 2500 revs when i heard a snap. the engine went to idle and i had to roll off the road, i knew that the acelerator cable had snapped from the throttle body, so i phoned the AA and they came within an hour, and fixed my cable by making a whole new clamp in fifteen minutes. and i was on my way home.
i just thought i would share that with u all.
has it happened to anybody else?

Hand brake cable gave way last night. It was just the S shaped hook, but got new cables cos they were frayed. £31 for new cables
