Anyone doing/done CISCO CCNA?

Apparently I already know all the stuff covered in CCNA, as I've configured cisco routers etc in my networking degree. But i want the CCNA classification as well. My Uni are doing this and charging a grand for CCNA, i may want to do CCNP afterwards as well.

Its an area i wish to take up for my career

Just want to hear peoples opinions really. was it worthwhile for you?

I did it at college for free instead of a 4th A-Level, can't reall say if it was worthwhile employment wise as im now in uni but from what i've heard it is very highly looked upon.

I've just done my 1st year of BSc Hons Computer network management and design - and so far i've done everything but touch a piece of networking hardware or software. Poor show so far
