rang them up to tell them ive added a backbox and want a quote for some lowering springs, the indian bloke on the other end says we have to class the springs as a full suspension kit and the total added price (with the backbox) will be 312 pound extra, i was like my god so i told him about the backbox and not sure if im gonna lower the car now

Well im with norwich union direct and ive got more than 3 mods declared- wheels, induction kit, lowered, kit, exhaust.
Only fault is when u ring up u get call center half way across the world who havent got a clue on cars On phone once for a about half an hour trying to get my kit declared- he had no idea what skirts were!

yeh it was an indian, i said it was lowering springs and he was like erm i will have to contact my adviser

alloy wheels count as two mods with norwich union if they are wider than the standard wheels How many alloys do you know of that are the width of steelies

Yeah more than 3 mods n they wont cover you if they are engine mods, just declare the important ones lol!
Kits etc dont add too much and if you know how to categorise alloys they dont affect the premium at all
Just tell them they are alloys with locking nuts dont mention wider/larger that way it is still down as non mfr fitted alloys!!!!
Any other ques u2u me!
