I'm just about to wire up my sub and amp, but need to know what setup i should use.

The amp is a Hifonics BX1500D which has
1 x 500w @ 4Ohm
1 x 1000 @ 2Ohm
1 x 1500 @ 1Ohm

The sub is a Kicker S12L7 dual 2Ohm
which will give 750 watts but doesn't say if this is RMS or PMPO, and can be wired in either:
Parallel = 1Ohm load
Seriers = 4Ohm load

which is best suited and least likely to damage either component.
