was a track expirence gift i got
had brifing which was dont do this blah blah
got taken out in a mg zr by the instuctor (i also shut his arm in the door of it )
then went out for 15 mins in it
went for another breifing tohe got 15mins in a audi engined single seater, limited to 4.5k , which equates to 102mph in 4th
got 3 out of 15 and a 1.06.814 best lap, reckon with 10 mins more i could have got sub 60secs
and got rated 76% by the insturtor in the mg
was brilliant anyway

I did one of those track-experience days for my 18th birthday, years ago!
Briefing, a few laps in a BTCC-spec BMW, with first me driving then the instructor. Then a race-driving-test in the BMW, which I got around 80% in ( ), then onto about 20 laps in the Formula First single-seater (10 practice, de-briefing, then 10 timed laps). Beat the required lap-time on 6 out of the 8 timed laps (1 in-lap, 1 out-lap means times on only 8 out of 10 laps), and had an absolutely superb day!
Then I got back into my car at the time (a Fiesta 997cc), and wondered why the acceleration wasn't pushing me back into the seat, before the realisation sunk back in!
