Anyone running this sport relief thing 10th of july? Keep seeing adverts for it on tv. Thinking I might just do it for a laugh, once I get my ass into gear and get fit I hope to do a marathon, possibly next years? - I used to do cross country and endurance cycling when I was younger. But then stopped, kept sciving P.E. for pub, got car and so no longer walked/rode/run anywhere and of course kept dining at KFC and well became very unfit
Doesn't fuss me though, I know I can get fit again - but just when I can be bothered basically - Lost quite a chunk of weight earlier in the year, now just improving fitness levels - then will go for another weight loss session soon ish, as I'd like to go to uni in a fitter state.
Anyway, this relief thing sounds like it could have a cool atmosphere, only thing I'm quite disapointed in is its only like 1 mile or something? So no real contest - but I'd imagine because of the number of people doing it you probably won't be able to go that fast anyway.

End of the day can raise a bit of money for some charities or something (the help fund paul's car modification charity just kidding ) - I'd feel a bit of a dick asking to be sponsered to run a mile
