If i am to get a mk1 golf i would need to insure it in my name

would i be able to get it on classic car insurance??

what u reckon insurance would be for:

17 y/o male (hopefully full liscence )
0 ncb
good postcode
garaged/on drive

You will be lucky to put it under classic car insurance in your own name at 17 I recon

at 17 youve probably got no chance mate. Put your dreams on hold and wait untill your old enough

Just buy the bits now and build it so when ure 21 you can drive it

i think you have to be 25 for classic insurance..don't quote me on that though

i dont have any car in my own name so i wouldnt be able to drive it?! my dad would because he has fully comp on his car!!

so even at say 19 i would stil have 0 ncb i cant afford insurance for the corsa so im only a named driver

You might be ok. You could probably get insured on it as a normal car at 19...
