Got this from Rotary Boards

quote:

Hi all,

Not posted for ages as have now sold the REX and have the RS4 - the big estate is awesome but I really miss my RX-7 - hence why I always still check new posts on the MRC everyday !!

Anyhow, I thought I would let you all have a pop on my missus !!, only joking I mean a pop on my Protex V4.

I bought it to put on the REX, and the insurance company are demanding a "Tracker" on the Audi.. so now no longer required !

I think the Protex is far better than a "tracker" a far far cheaper. Baiscally it will text your mobile to let you know when the alarm has gone off - it uses mobile technology and a pay as you go system, so you just top it up now and again.

It also texts you every month to let you know battery power and how much credit you have left... How cool is that ?????

Wife " Who was that text from ?"
You " only the REX love !!"

Also for an annual subscrioption of £39.99 a year, if the theiving scum manage to steal your motor - you can track it on your own PC and then go and batter the numpties......... Or phone the law, your choice..

Because of the mobile technology it can reach you anywhere in the world, so when you are in the south of france you can still know someone is ransacking your car !!!!! (or you can phone someone else to go and check !!!)

So there you have it - a tracking device - brand new - unused - cheaper and better than a "tracker" - Starting at £80.00 Dibs

Chow,

Tomson
