decided on an mr2 for my next car, really want a t-bar in either black or yellow,not sure weather to try and get a turbo or just a gt though.
are all turbos imports? will the gt be quick enough if i cant get insured on the turbo? oh and i want one with the 170odd brake engine after 1994.
anyone know any good sites that i can look at tuning parts for mr2's?

all urbos are imports - think they are group 19 
GT is quick enough. the last ones where 167bhp i think
for performance parts, search on google m8

170BHP is from Rev3 94/95

At your age insurance on the Turbo will be quite a lot. I paid £1500 when I was 22.

Did have a Magnex exhaust and De-cat and HKS ind. kit but its been put back to std to sell.
Had it RR'd at 174.6BHP at fly, 132.5 at wheels and 129.2lb ft, was gonna get a remap but decided against tunning an N/A
It is a great car, handles great, best driving position ever, fast enough etc. only thing id say is dont be over confident in the wet

cool spent 1.5K on it in the last three months getting it up to scratch looking at putting it up for around 4.8k with offers, but its the matter of finding a decent one theres alot of poo ones about

Yes me too, just had a new clutch, service, and front painted to rid of stone chips just need to find someone looking for one now

yer clutch, cam belt, bottom end was rebuilt before i bought it orm my mate*forgot to check to oil* arse, dampers and usual bits, also all the crap grey trim ie side skirts been sprayed black too
