take a fit friend

went to get a few interior trims last week they wanted like 30 quid for some plastic !!

went again with 30 quid my mate came along blond haired sort, got bits i needed and MORE goto the counter ! that will b 5 quid please mate !

so chuffed glad i didnt pay 1st time

theres a scrappy near me and they wont let u in unless u leave ur car keys at the desk.. but u can go and take whateva u want off the car.. but have to take ur own tools also.. then they charge u..

so hide what u can and ur away pmsl

Whats worse are the courts ontime yards. Thats the place the police impound peoples cars after they are arrested for a driving/parking offence, or after a serious accident which involved the police removing the vehicle. I went a few months back to help me mate get his car back after it got towed away, they got a bit that you're not allowed in cos it's where all the forensic stuff is done e.t.c... Then some of the cars that were involved in motorway crashes There was this one where this woman clipped a kerb at 70mph while pissed off her face, wasn't a pretty site...

yea pretty disturbing when u look at the state of some of the cars

wayne, remember that time we went to the counter with the gaitor and she charged u a fiver, then we wanted to take the gaitar of the harder plastic guide so that it would be cheaper, then she said no that woulc be vandelism!!

is that women still there?

she was at the back her pikey husband was the one that served me lol plus they wouldnt let me go in untill i told em wot i needed but i just wanted a browse lmao

local scrappy wount let you into yard unless you tell em exactly what you want. you have to take it off yourself, with your own tools, then they charge you the earth.

im like hang on, i did shit loads of work taking that off, and your charging me shit loads

yeah and you work there, they tried to charge me £20 for a scuttle pannel, i just put it down on the desk and walked out. didnt say a word.

:O I dont work their nor have any connection with them. I'm self employed.
I just happen to do a lot of work for them, and they still charged me £15+ for a seatbelt tensioner.

You still after a scuttle?

lol i thought it was only our local scrappy that charge the earth!
i think its best to ask the price before u go to the effort of taking it out of the car.

no, i got one from browns instead, for £5. was funny. he just said '£20 mate, i just looked at him, put the scuttle on the desk and walked out
