on that pic u can see the end of the air pipe with the air flow meter removed on the left hand side

remove the meter which luke has posted pics of already and is easy and then squirt the carb cleaner down the pipe

Get a haynes with your engine in it.... its pointless if it isnt

but the engine is bassically the same as the c16xe....

EGR , diff manifold etc etc

I had the exact same thing wiht my C16XE, took months of changing sensors etc to find the hole in the inlet, only found it when fitting an M-box and throwing the tube away lol

Foz the question Ally asked was for me.....what was the hole causing?

On my corsa there is shitloads of hesitation and jumping ect, usually in 2nd and 3rd, but this time its not the air flow meter, and the ECU isnt showing any faults........

the hole is causing lots of air to suck in causing the acu to throw out all kinds of shite. the revs are goin up and down mentally.
