Well i'm off all the way to Barnsley to view a Y reg Black 106 GTI.

I'll be getting about £500 back for my car as a trade in so i'm making money on what i payed for it.Basically i don't like my car I've tried to enjoy it but it does not like to be driven properley and the petrol is really bad Getting about 25 MPG and that is without booting it all the time.

I'll let you know how i get on...I know i'm going to get slated for this

Theres nothing wrong with not liking a car, its all personal taste at the end of the day!

Well i've bought it

Y reg black 106 GTI

Not picking it up till saturday so will get picks up then.Found it a really nice car to drive! First impressions was that it looked damn fine in black and the interior is well nice as apposed to what i've heard people say on here.

It is the later model so it's full Leather and alcantara,electric mirrors,CD,White new style dials which look well better than the other kind.

I was really impressd with how it drove,i thought it would feel really tinny and weak but it felt solid and stable with the suspension being spot on for UK roads.

The car feels very flat at lows revs but is nice to drive slow..once you floor it though like in 3rd it's very quick.Think i might miss the torque of my turbo though

I found out my car has been in an accident and had the whole front end repaired which the HPI never told me about This knocked the value of mine down to 7K so i got the car like for like in the end with a nice Warrenty thrown in Gonna have to get an Induction kit and a nice exhaust on it ASAP as it feels very restricted and tight but apart from that it's getting lowered a bit and a few neat body mods then i'll start on the engine.

Ooooo can't wait to get it now!
