right

i had a new alarm fitted today by gap security. bought it over easter + dropped on a easter deal they had on for a Avital maxx1. i also got discount for being insured with adrian flux. (was meant about £550, after discout i paid £401.99) they came out to my mates house to fit it btw cos i was @ work.

i already had a clifford alarm fitted + the installer guy removed it + fitted the new one. general quality of the work was poor, glovebox not put back right, careless drilling + took off a switch on my dash that had nothing to do with my clifford alarm. also the electric windows dont work properly now as i have to hold it down in stead of just breifly pressing it for it to carry on going down.

what made me even more mad is that the installer has taken my alarm + keyfob off of my keyring + stolen it! i did have plans for this to go onto my silver corsa but im guessing he had his own plans for it.

ive tried ringing gap + theyre now shut but is there anything i should do in regards to reporting it to the police? after all, he stole something from my car

another thing that pissed me off is how tacky the keyfob looks. to be honest it looks total shite

any help is very much appreciated

Why ring the police until you have spoken to them. If you get the police involved gap will just say they were disposing of it for you. If you ring gap and threaten them with the police they will give you it back!
The alarm fob looks tacky but you bought it.
The electric windows theres a way to reset them i think if you hold it down so many times or something it will go back to one touch. I believe thats because they have had the battery off.

^^^^window theory is correct... think you have to hold button down for 5 secs or something.
