check this out.....

moved back from Isle of Mung to Belfast on 5th April, but on the day of departure i spied a 93 White Astra GSI for sale for £1500, had had a complete rebuild with uprated cam's chipped, blistein sus & white 16 Compmotive MO's

this car was mint, went like stink and only had a small bit of bubbling on one rear arch - i always loved them so i couldnt resist this one

so cunty decides to buy it, gets it for 1200 & sells the golf for 1150 to a mate

happy days

2 hrs later, i goes to drive down to the boat, fuking thing wont start, jsut turns over no spark whatsover

cant get in touch with the seller

therefore i miss boat home

eventually get in touch with him, he tells me there was an ECU prob about 6mths ago, and tells me to kick the driverside kick plate, it ususally sorts it

ballix, i say, i want my money back

gets money back

gets golf back of mate

stuck in IOM for an extra 4 days

needless to say i wasnt a happy camper, and especially after buying a car which i always adored, and now HATE

the golf has never broke down in 2yrs since ive owned it

anyhow, at least im back in Belfast!

Jesus christ

But the Astra GSi is better than the Golf IMO.

Would be better to buy a new ECU.
