In terms of bieng a proper Type R, then yes, it's certainly more hardcore... the EP3 is softer in comparison.
1.6 185ps (jap spec ITR engine -200cc basically, you can use the crank/rods/pistons from an ITR and then it's nigh on identicle engine wise)

oh right more of a track set up then rather then uk market hot hatch?
take it the old ones have LSD, no sound proofing etc etc like the tegs?
any reliable performance stats for these?
