would it bite at all? Im trying to figure out what is wrong with mine and this has been suggested to me. I can run the engine in any gear with my foot off the clutch and thre is no sign of movement at all. Gear linkage went the other day and i had to get to work so drove the car for 5 mins with only 3rd and 4th gears.

gone totally - wont bite at all

when i bought my car (with fked clutch) would bite fine in 1st n 2nd, then would start slipping as i got up the revs in 3rd

isnt there a trick where you put it in 4th and let the clutch out at idle, if it stalls instantly then its ok?

anyone else know ^^^^^ ? Its gonna be a huge hassle to get the car to the garage if i can find out for myself at home!

clutch cable too tight? thus not letting the clutch engage?
