Thinking of having this done, i saw a 1.6 Nova in Redline a while ago and this had a turbo, etc on. Anyone any ideas of cost of this, or who could do the job????
It may be my next mod!!!

 @ the d/v bit, I think you should be worrying more about the turbo, it'd only be a low boost conversion that'd run relaibly (well relatively) so wouldn't get much tishhh anyway.
If you really want it done and wana spend double the money of a c20xe conversion for about the same power, courtney or regal would probably take it on, but there have been some bad stories about them and turboing 16xe's

My mate has got one on a Clio 1.4 RT. Not much more power but sounds good  Do it mate!

the nova in total vaux this month is a 1.6 turbo it will run 10psi all day long and has no probs only has probs when he runs higher boost he is knocking out 200bhp and to be honest it dont cost that much if ya good with ya hands and can do itya self like he did

wat a waste of time that was, would have been more beneficial to stick in a r5gtt lump, torsion tuning do that conversion. one of them near me

If it's red and on venoms it's the 1.4 8v mpi engine with a turbo, his name was niven and iirc it was running about 150 bhp with cams etc etc.
the lad with the black sri on 18's from down south also did that conversion himself (the c14se) but it kept blowing up

yes nivan, was in the year above me, very much doubt its running 150BHP tho 8v turbo - that would be almost a 100% power increase

He sent me a list of exactly what was done it may have been more like 135-140 can't really remember, but he did have cams and headwork n shit i think.
Done anything to the bimma yet col?

Hmmmm I still dont think so, i see it around alot - Its not fast. Maybe im wrong, it has been known to happen
Fixed all the broken bits of trim/electrics etc - Put full new lock set on it, new window winder, door handle, fog light switch, window wipers, a bulb, piece of plastic dash, metal cover from the outside cost me a total of £7 Had loads of bits stuffed up my top
Gave it a wash
Think I might drill the airbox this weekend and order a K&N filter
Still looking for alloys and exhaust
Need to spend more time getting the MR2 ready to go - its getting neglected

Yes Alloys and exhaust are important parts - dont wanna pay too much for them tho
MR2 needs cleaned MOT'd, few bits swapped around, No plate transferred then sold. Im still using the MR2 BM's hardly been out yet I give it a blast up the road and that now n then

yeah hes got 1 but its 14xe
think he had problems when he got it.
hes just got it fitted after rebuilding it so dont think the reliabilty is good on them but better asking him

was the same guy that i was talking about up top with the nova in total vaux one in my avatar that did grigglets conversion and it only went bang becasue jon didnt run it in properly and ran to much boost and it went pop
