My corsa has been loosing power badly between 3000 and 4500 revs then the engine managment light comes on. I took my car into a vauxhall garage and they told me it was the ecu that needed replacing and the part alone was £500!!!! ouch... Well what i want to know is do i need to get a brand new one or can i get one from a scrappy? Is it an easy job?

yeah secondhand one will be fine and it's real easy to change
