C14SE (1.4 8v sri) with 128k on the clocks, head gasket has gone and i think the air flow meter has too. My mate wants an old engine just to play around with and strip down etc, but we were wondering if it was worth bringing it all the way back from wakefield (197 miles) or scrap it and buy one down here.

my mate doing motorsport engineering at uni said he might have it off me, cos head gasket isnt expensive to replace if you do it yourself. You reckon i could get £50~£75 for it?
