I really want 2 try this but dont kno if it will work...

Take the clear cover off the new ultra lexus lights, spray the inside(chrome/black bit) the colour of my car and seal the cover back on.

I think it would look cool, but if it wouldnt work, wud it b possible 2 colour code the actuall outside of the light so for example when the reverse lights r on they show up as a ring.

i had a smashed one and i tried to get the clear off without breaking it 2 see if it could be done but i broke it

i am seriously wanting 2 try it but i dnt wanna shell out 4 a new pair of clusters if i fook em up. i kno they have got 2 b sealed back p properly else they will condensate up ,well they do anyway

heat up the glue adn peel them off r juts gcut the silcone thats holding them together witha craft knife

rite then, wen it stops raining(if it eva does) sumtym this week, im gonna giv it a go and if it dusnt work im blaming u ant!

jus thinkin bout wen i seal em back up, do u think the silacone will go everywhere inside and make a mess

Yeah i tried for ages to do it heated it up, got knife in between but ooooops cracked them lol

use clrear silicone and b careful is all, dnt blame me
just take your time i kow sum1 who did it to his fiesta ligts worked adn looks good, all the jap civics do it

There looked to be grooves inside which one bit sits in another and is all glued so its hard to cut glue as u can get to it, i was thinkin of smashing the covers off completely and just having them as 3D looking lights if i could mould them so they curved round the car still

i meant making the lexus lights into 3D mate rather than having those like you have i would prob have those if they didnt stick out as much as they do

i thort about making the lexus lights 3d by removing the cover at 1st but they would just get wet, or damp and fuk up, am gonna give it a go wiv my old lexus clusters 1st b4 i attempt my new 1's, lol. i will take my time and let u kno how i go on
