too slow too imo, lot of money when you consider it's rivals. s/c power should be quicker, the in gear times are way off ctr pace!

yeah but you gotta remember this nearly 170bhp motor i can get insured ok with, im not bothered about the competitors which are faster etc, cos this is the limit to my insurance, am sure it will feel quick for a few months compared to my 75bhp snail

defo a girly poofs car. handle well but the ride is really quite harsh. not as fast as you'd think. slower than a VTS in a straight line as standard. having been in a mini 1, a cooper and a cooper S I can say that they are over priced fashion add ons to your life

BTW i cracked open my old PS1 last week and purchased a Punto GT on Gran Turismo 2 just to see what all the fuss was about

Cooper 1.6 16v is nice to drive, excellent handling, excellent gearbox car looks really nice etc etc

Lacks a decent punch though.

Would'nt mind a crack in a Cooper-S

well i build the cars all day.. i have driven all the range and cooper S is a very fun car to drive.. depends on age and insurance but the John cooper works kit really does give it that xtra bit of power that it needs
