i'm making my own door pods out of fibre glass, and i want to know should i use the bracket for the template, and fibre glass round it?? u can see the focal speaker on it below! will it be spaced out far enough?

Why not, seems like a good idea, your probably best to go a little mad with the dynamat on the underneth of it though, cos you got no mdf to absorb rattles e.t.c...

Use it as a template to make some thicker and stronger mounts from MDF. will get better sound from them

make it outta mdf -will be alot better can get the measurements from the speakers box if you have it

2 questions. Did you mount the speaker from the outside of the pod? And how did u secure the speker grille in place?
