At the moment im driving around a 1.2 corsa paying 1500 under my mum's name TPTF due to a claim against me!

Its almost been settled so i thought hey lets ring up and see what they will charge for another car, i tried the mini cooper and that came out at 1700 tpft i thought not bad, but could get better.

So i tried another car the clio 172 2.0 litre, they said we will have to contact underwriters' so i waited and they came back with 10,000 on top of the 1500 !!!!!!!! thats 11,500 for a clio

Im a little scared this was with CIS insurance.

Any one's views on this,
