Whilst my engine bay is empty i am cleaning every thing, engines going back in monday fingers crossed, every thing is pretty clean except the header tank, what is the best way toi clean this out so its spotless, had it soaked in bleach but no good any ideas

Rub it (the header tank)with cif (was Jif) on a cloth, that'll work. I think the bleach would work but you'd need it on a rough cloth.
You could also used white spirit, but that too would need a good rubbing.

Soak it in fairy liquid for a while? Thats a de-greaser...

get some muck off , think its called dirt attack you need to wash it off with water though but it gets rid of almost any sh1te

Mr Muscle foam degreaser, spray on leave for 2 mins, wipe off, spotless!
