It's going to be sent via regular mail (US Postal Service), not too heavy, package of around 600 grams...

Will I need to pay any sort of import-duty or taxes on it? Also what about things like customs n such??

not sure, have imported something before from a mail order company and I got charged tax n stuff. think they need to write on package, gift or something along those lines for you not to get charged. Make it look like its not something that has been bought, ie hide the invoice.
