when u lined the astra spacer onto the corsa axel, how did u aling it?

im lining the top of the plate with the top of the axel part but no holes line up

if i line the centres of the large hole in them, 2 sort of line up

if i line the 2 bottom hole up (about 1/2 of each line up) then the top are way out and also the big holes in the centre are way out

doh need help asap as im welding 2night!! cheers

we aligned it so that it runs straight along the top i think, allign the hold in the middle and then see if you can get 1 or more holes lining up properly. you will have to weld over the old holes and then drill the new ones.

no probs mate got it sorted now

lined top up and centred the large hole

no holes lined up, so drilled 4 new ones

not welding old ones up as yet, seem welded all way round tho

the centre of the drum will now be about 5mm higher by my calculations, so im guessing the wheel will sit furthin up the arch meaning the car will look lower

We made a thing which went through small hole and plate sat over so it was central either side then made sure it was straight and seam welded it on turned out ok

if i get time and it all works out ok im moving the plate 2" higher and skimming a few mm off it so the wheel goes RIGHT into arch lol
