Ok... I rang up last week asking to upgrade to 1mb DSL from 512k, they said as I had my phone number changed, it would take around 5-10 days for BT to sort this out, and that I would be without DSL for a few hours maybe. Friday I had no broadband for 6 hours (no link light, nothing) So I rang them up again just now saying about it, and they were yeah its done BUT now they tell me as I changed the number I have to wait 2 MONTHS for them to sort there frikin end out now before I can even attempt to upgrade!
WTF?? Is this normal?? 
We changed the number due to death threats & nuscence calls, completely OUT of our control! They even said I'm lucky to still have DSL because of the number change!
I'm seriously debating switching ISP's now, as I can't be arsed waiting that long! I'll ring again tomorrow & try get a decent answer from them again, but if all else fails, how do I go about switching my ISP?
