what speed are you doing when you hit the limiter in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc

3rd im doing about 78-80mph on speedo, 2nd will prob do about 53-5mph, and 1st i wouldn't rev it that hard

i aint had chance yet in me corsa but me vectra was-
1st- 33mph
2nd- 62mph
3rd- 89mph
4th- 124mph
5th- 150mph- (6600rpm)

cheers btw

it coz just had new 1.6 sport engine fitted and not sure whether it is the correct sport gearbox ie f15?? Also not sure whether my digi dash is reading correct speed coz had hassle with the gearbox sender. so basically just trying to work out whether i have f15 g/box or whether my speedo's out..

if that makes sense!!

That's from a 1.6? Mine is roughly (measured on a private road):

1st - 33mph
2nd - 57mph
3rd - 85mph
4th - 105mph
5th - 120mph (at 6k RPM, can't redline it......well, probably could, but would need a bloody long stretch of private road)

god this is complicated..

tried looking on the gearbox for the number but cnt see it
