oh right, so you havent tried insuring a car with an engine conversion then???
my mate had a clio rt, wanted a 1.8 16v conversion, wouldnt touch him as he didnt have any no claims, was 21 at the time, however he sold the rt and bought a clio 1.8 16v 2 weeks later, got insured with the same company no problems.
