Im thinking about buying a router and PCMCIA card which is 54mbps, will this be enough for my comp?, at the mo, my speed is 10mbps on a 512k. As you can tell I havent got a clue what it all means lol

Yeah thats fine. Your on a connection of 512K (broadband) and the wireless LAN will be transmit at 54Mbs. So it will be quick enough.

100Mbs is basically a LAN using Cable which you dont want.

I'm running a wireless LAN using old 11Mbs and the speed of the internet is exactly the same as when I used cable.

im on ntl, does that work with adsl?
