With ref to this post about Corsa C steering rack problems

I took mine to Vaux with the same prob. Guess what, they put it down to 'Owner Annoyance' and a 'characteristic of all Corsa C's!'

Yep, just tell them that you know its a fault which most cars have, and don't leave til they sort it.
Alternatively get them to fix it and then don't pay them

befure u go ape if when stationary it knocks that is normal to allow for movement up the column to the eps. but if when drivin and does it take vaux and demand it gets fixed

yes i know main dealers are sometimes un helpful and often don't take you seriously at all, if im not happy i go to my nxt vauxhall dealer, i think if you are younger they treat you alot differently then if my dad was to go in grrrrrrrrr

this is true iv'e had my rack changed and the noise has come back they tigtened the pinch bolts at the bottom of the coloumn but still does it.vaux say they no longer change them if it just bangs.and showed me 3 other corsa c's they had for sale on the forcourt with the same problem
