Does any one know of any legal restrictions on driving abroad, like a minimum age or several years experience etc. Wanting to go to france but someone said they thought that you had to be 21 to do it. Also will insurers have to know?

Its 18 and you will need to check your insurance to see if you're covered for driving in Europe.

18 in eurpoe i believe. 21 to use a hire car.
