Any one go?

Was some v impressive cars there.

Mates rover 216 ran a best of 15.7 with wank starts all day!
Poor lad kept lining up next to a MkII Golf running an Audi S3 engine... which proceeded to rape him with times in the 13's somewhere

was a banged up GTE which i think may of been running quite alot of Nitrous untill something went pop halfway up the strip and lots of smoke filled up the car


was a good day, and I would well reccomend to anyone bored on a sunday

Yeah mate went up about 11ish yesterday.

Pies got no insurance on the renault, we went with all boltons mates from his work in their rover barges

woke up, tried getting some more luvin from the gf but she was having none of it, so off we went to santa pod to watch people cane thier cars... was a top weekend thinkin about it

honda engine (standard untill after a L plate in most rovers), garrett turbo (dont ask which cos i dont know), low compression pistons, fifth injector, FMIC, fully mappable ECU (again i havent got the foggiest which one) and a new set of front tyres once a month.....

is it a 216?
single or dual cam?

they can be turboed relitively cheap now as in America they sell the whole turbo fitting kit for these Honda engines.

pack the car off to Prism motorsport to be plumbed in and have the compression sorted and off you go.


be warned the brakes are total soggy biscuits and handling aint up to much

yeah a 216 i think dont know any more about it than that tho I know its a rover and im gona regret saying this but i dont mind the look of them

TBH they are a bit dated now!

this one looks alot like the 220 turbo jobby, slammed on 17"s, 220 skirts, roof spoiler and boot spoiler, and a few interior bits and bobs from the new MG range thrown in for good measure


the only thing i dont like is the fact that they wiegh a ton, i reckon if he stripped the car out it might get into the low 15s possibly high 14s with a good start
