cant afford the dynamite or other brand names at the mo, so my mate has got some from a DIY shop, LOADS cheaper, but shall i use it for now, and in time put some names deadening in??? or shall i keep away from it?

just use underseal, its all dynamat is, its just wrapped in clith.

i used the flashing tape stuff, its abit messy in the heat but does the job, i coupled it with some really dense foam in the rear quarters and that and it worked a treat

For main areas like boot floor tailgate i would personally use dynamat extreme as even if it is the same stuff it seeems to do the job alot better

Read the Help and Mods forum - there's a thread on Dynamat and AquaSeal Hi Band Flashing Tape in there.

The cheap shit from B&Q is just that - cheap shit. It's not designed to absorb sound in automotive applications and DOESNT.

It just LOOKS like the same stuff, but if you actually compare the two products there's no comparison.

i want to do the whole car, but Dynamat costs a BOMB to do whole car!!
