The manual ones aint too bad, the Tiptronic is basically an auto box, which isnt the most effeicent..

They are definately slow for what they should be...... You would expect them to be rapid with a 2 litre 24v and with Mitubishi reputation but........ something went wrong.... Dissapointment all round

There's alot of differnce between the models I think and the Mivec is meant to be good.

I was testing out my mates bike, it does 80-85 mph on flat and it started off as a 50cc scooter hehe, £1000 later and it beats most cars to 80

Anyways, i just took it for a quick spin after he'd had a few more things done the other day, and there was this red fto with a youngish lad in it, there were two lanes n he saw me pull up beside him he started revving the engine, could tell he had induction kit, liughts turned amber, we both shot off and i bet it to abbout 50-60!! i could hear him hitting the limiter so i know for a fact he was trying

I wasnt that impressed at the auto box triptonic thingy one

Manual would definitely be better

Suppose you have to remember the design of them is going back nearly 15 years i think, so they werent that bad, although poor for a V6 by todays standards.

V6 2000 24V Mivec GS
Max Speed 142mph
Max Power 200 BHP @ 7500
Max Torque 20.4kgf/m @ 6000 rpm

when i looked into these was always told go for a manual or you will regret it.

When I was changin my car, I was set on a FTO until I drove one
I was well unimpressed, I would have preferred to keep my old Corsa Sport
I ended up getting a Civic Jordan
