I have reg document, insurance and MOT but no letter that I usually take, I've only just bought the car and its currently SORN from the previous owner.
Anyone?

the log book, cover note + mot. you should also take the letter saying your car has been declared off the road
the letter is only a reminder that your tax is due

u need insurance and mot mate, then take it to the post office and u fill in a form there, they then do the rest as u would normally when taxing a car, u get the tax disk and its done

Got cover note and MOT.
If this other form is at the PO it can be filled in tomorrow and I'll be driving the beast soon enough
