Say if the car was 2 miles from where it was keep and the MOT was done the week after?

u been busted or worried u might get busted??? not really sure tbh mate, cant see it being that bad tho...would be worse if the car were in a accident or something

hard to say really when i was youth i got done for no licence no mot tax or insurance they gave me 6 points for insurance and a £25 fine for the rest but that was years ago

You are only allowed to drive the car to and from an MOT station with no MOT...there is no lee-way...if your caught driving you will be fined I presume...also most insurances are void with no valid MOT so you may be guilty of driving with no insurance.

yes it was booked for the MOT, yes i got busted back in december in the silvia, after months of restoring it the only thing i needed to cheak is wether the fuel gadge was working correctly (hardly left in it) so I drove 2 miles down country lanes to the petrol station and got pulled on the way back

I have not been charge with no insurance on my summons that came though, can they still charge me? I wasn't aware that no MOT voided insurance

no mate you will be fine with insurance. you will just get a fine like i did don't think there is any points system in place for no mot

don't know mate thats upto the court and whether the judge got his leg over the night before.i would imagine about 100 to £150 at a pound a week
