when u machine alloy wheels down to increase the ET, is there any negative effects e.g. weaking the alloy wheels it's self?

yes - as yo9u say - taking a mm or few off the alloy will weaken it

damm it, the wheels i want the highest ET they do is 31, oh well

31 - corsa - oh nooooooooo - not even with machined - i heard ya only suppose to do 4-5mm tops - which would make a 36et - still no good

well they are euro styled wheels, ddep dish 14x7 and 14x8, arches will be flaired right out with arch extensions smoothed in, but i do want handling to tho, and that off set will through it right out
