my mate just got flashed doin 49mph in a 50 limit. Obviously this is wrong, but is there gonna be any way of proving it if he gets a letter thru? anyone else had this?

Thats what the lines are for. So they can double check.

And i bet he werent doin 49 mph. Prolly doing a few mph more, speedos arent that accurate

speedos are always set to read more than the actual speed. Never less, or people would be speeding without knowing.

that sounds a bit dodgey, like someone said, id get thm to send the photos and any other info they have, as they have to comply within a certain amount of days, think its two weeks, not 100% sure on that.

they're dodgey though, my mate got a letter thru saying he was caught speeding in sheffield, when he hadnt even driven to sheffield, hes never been there in his life! yet police tried to pin this on him, sent photos and letters and all sorts, to thn discover that they were actually wrong! stupid tw@ts!

I got flashed doing 25 in a 30 Didn't get no letter though Sometimes they just flash for the sake of it

lol, check to see whether it was a 50 limit? sometimes it can drop to a 30 or 40 limit without really being clear...

lol I think it'd be funny to drive in reverse through a speed camera (in a 20 limit)

just imagine their faces when they look at the pics... they'll initially think you must of been overtaking on the other side of the road and went through it - but then checking the time stamps they'd figure out u were going backwards
