I was told by a very reliable mechanic that you can fit rear disk-brakes in a Corsa comming from a VW Golf and that it is an easier conversion to do rather than using astra or cav brakes.
Anyone knows what is involved?
I'm asking because it is much cheaper to buy second hand VW parts here.

If the mechanic is happy to fit them then go for it. I've never heard of this either tho.

It seems it is not from a golf after all. There must be a Polo that its rear hubs are identical to that of the Corsa,at least as far as where the screws are located. It may be possible to screw the Polo hubs on the Corsa rear beam with almost no trouble, maybe just use a spacer.I'm not sure about the handbrake cable tho...
I'm trying to find the VW model that came with these disk brakes.
Anyone knows which Polo'es came with rear disk brakes?
